Did you know that all office spaces, schools, indoor sports venues, gyms, and malls that are larger than 2000 m2 need an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). Updated legislation based on SANS 1544 (2014) has mandated that all privately owned buildings which fall under specific conditions must receive an EPC.

The conditions are a building larger than 2000m2, a building older than 2 years and have not undergone major renovations in the past 2 years, and fall under the building classifications A1, A2, A3, and G1.
